Hockey!

Ok, so Matt and I recently got into hockey, we have become fans. The reason you ask? Well last year I had Matt attend a play, The Christmas Story at Geva theatre with me, followed by the Nutcracker ballet at Eastman theater, and it was great. But to even out the playing field I found us Sabres vs. Penguin tickets, and we loved it. It was quite the experience.

So after this game we then went to an Amerks game, they are the local Rochester AFL team, Rochester Americans. We got those tickets for only 5 bucks a piece due to a Rochester Alumni game night which Matt happened to be in town for! First good thing my college education has gotten me haha. This game was fun too, although not quite as exciting as the NHL game.














We also went to Toronto over valentines day weekend. We went exploring, and happened to find out that Toronto Canada is home to the Hockey Hall of Fame, so we went to see it, however we didn't actually go in since we knew how expensive our dinner was planning to be. But if we ever make it back to Toronto, we will make plans to go. It was really neat to see it though.












And if anyone ever makes it up to Toronto, save up money and go to The Bodega for dinner!!!! It is a classic french cuisine restaurant, very expensive, but the best food of our life!!! Just letting you know.

But yeah, so the Sabres game turned us into hockey fans, I think it's because it was our first sporting event together, but it's great and it's fun routing for opposite teams :)
