Projects: Cooking and More

Ok so I promised I was still cooking. So I just made my first homemade pound cake. It taste alright but doesn't quite taste the way I like pound cake, a little too spongy and not dense enough I guesss, so I'll have to find a new recipe to try.

I also just made a Tuscan Panzanella Salad. It was delicious! It was a special bread, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, basil and a homemade red wine vinegarette.















I also crochet, and I've been working on the same blanket since I first learned how, because as most of you know, I don't sit still long enough to get anything done. But I FINALLY finished it!!! HOORAY!!! The lighting in the apartment doesn't work too well for pictures but here it is! And yes.... I picked these colors out when I was like 12 or something so forgive the rainbow look, I wanted to atleast finish it finally though.
